GDPR

Please be informed that on May 25, 2018, the provisions of the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), hereinafter referred to as GDPR, came into effect.

Responsibilities of the data protection officer

Informing the administrator, the data processor, and employees processing personal data about their obligations under the GDPR and other EU or Member State data protection provisions and advising them on this matter; Monitoring compliance with GDPR, other EU or Member State data protection provisions, and policies of the administrator or data processor in the field of personal data protection, including division of responsibilities, awareness-raising actions, training of personnel involved in processing operations, and related audits; Providing recommendations upon request regarding data protection impact assessment and monitoring its implementation; Cooperating with the supervisory authority; Serving as a contact point for the supervisory authority in matters related to processing, including prior consultations, and where appropriate, conducting consultations on all other matters; Serving as a contact point for data subjects on all matters related to the processing of their personal data and exercising their rights under GDPR; Maintaining a register of operations or a register of categories of operations.
