She worked at the Clinic of Radiation Therapy of the Oncology Center, Branch in Cracow, where she also held the position of scientific and research assistant. She took up the position of an Assistant Professor at the Clinic of Radiation Therapy of the Oncology Center and an Assistant Professor at the Clinic of Abdominal Neoplasms of the Oncology Center of the Marie Curie-Skłodowska Institute, Branch in Cracow. Currently employed at the University Clinical Center in Katowice in the capacity of Senior Assistant and associated with NU-MED Center for Diagnostics and Oncology Therapy in Katowice. Her special medical interests span therapy of abdominal and pelvic neoplasms, in particular: gastrointestinal neoplasms (stomach, rectum, anus) as well as urogenital system neoplasms (prostate gland and urinary bladder). Oncology consultations, participation in multidisciplinary medical case conferences and assessment of eligibility for radiation therapy.
She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Jagiellonian University Medical College in Cracow, in 2004 she defended a diploma of a doctor of medical sciences basing on a dissertation entitled “Evaluation of the correlation between the duration of the waiting period prior to the onset of radiation therapy and the outcome of the treatment of patients with non-advanced glottis cancer”.
