Chemotherapy is a method of treatment based on the administration to the patient of pharmaceuticals called cytostatic drugs. Drugs may be administered orally, subcutaneously and intravenously. In Elbląg, Katowice and Zamość, chemotherapy is conducted by hospitals with which NU-MED Group centers neighbour. Thereby, a comprehensive neoplasm treatment is available for patients. Treatment is delivered at one day therapy wards if the patient’s condition does not require permanent hospitalization. Whenever the patient’s condition calls for hospitalization, the physician suggest stay at the ward.
